Our church implemented Multiplying, Creating a Culture of Disciple-Makers into our DNA. We currently have men, women, and teens going through the book. We have already seen spiritual growth and look forward to the multiplication of disciples that will happen!

The book is written for believers of all ages and spiritual maturity. Dr. Magruder has mentored and discipled youth to seniors for over thirty years (including two of my own daughters). I am a church planter and disciple-maker, but Dr. Bob has exceeded his teacher in this case. I tend to teach global principles. He teaches step-by-step, embracing discipleship as a way of life. I recently used this workbook to disciple two groups of pastors, and I am currently using it to disciple a third group of pastors. We have all been encouraged and convicted by its content, especially the session about deeply loving God. After going through a life-altering illness in 2019, I made a commitment to make disciples until God calls me home. “Multiplying” is one of the tools I have implemented to fulfill that promise to the Lord, and I’ve seen many lives changed and men grow closer to Christ. “Multiplying” encourages individuals to be in the Word of God and learn how to live a spiritually disciplined life. Since using this discipleship material, I have seen an NFL football player break down in tears after realizing he never truly accepted Christ and a former basketball coach for the University of Alabama openly confess Christ as his Savior. Because I have seen men of all ages drawn closer to Christ through “Multiplying,” I highly recommend this material for making disciples.

This is a powerful study! Our groups quickly saw lives change from the beginning! It is a powerful tool for true discipleship! Multiplying has been great for all age groups, from college to older men and women, because the Bible principles relate to everyone in every stage. This resource goes beyond checking the box to guide each group to walk along a journey together. We are in our third generation of using Multiplying. As spiritual growth is witnessed, others in our church continually ask to join a discipleship group.

A few dozen people from our church went through this study together. Everyone loved it. It is good for a new believer who needs to know about the basics of being a disciple or for a seasoned believer who needs a reminder or a strategic approach to discipleship. After partnering with Bob in ministry for 15 years, I describe him as a serious student, author, and practitioner of discipleship. Bob has been on the staff of FishHawk Fellowship Church in Lithia, FL, since 2008. A key part of his leadership is discipleship.
