Bob Magruder is co-founder of Multiplying Culture Ministries, a ministry focused on creating a culture of disciple-makers through relational discipleship. While leading the international ministry as a discipleship strategist, he also serves his local community as a pastoral counselor after serving many churches as a Teaching Pastor, Executive Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Student Pastor, Chaplin for the North American Mission Board, and an Adjunct Professor for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Trinity College of Florida. Bob accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of sixteen, radically transforming his life. A few years later, Bob heard the word discipleship. God used a casual conversation to ignite a passion that propelled Bob to engage in relational discipleship among adults and students for the past 40 years. He holds a BA and an MA in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bob’s goal in all facets of ministry is to equip disciples to be disciple-makers who multiply. 

Barbie Magruder, co-founder of Multiplying Culture Ministries, brings a unique perspective to her ministry. As a Christian Life Coach, she partners with students, women, couples, and families, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive in God’s plan for their life. Barbie’s journey with Jesus began in the fourth grade when she asked Him to be the Lord of her life, but it was as a young adult that she truly began an intimate relationship with Him. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, God led Barbie to various career changes, from corporate administration and sales to advocating for teenage parents in a child abuse prevention program. She earned certifications to assess child development and teach childbirth and parenting classes. Raised as a preacher’s kid, Barbie uses her parents’ ministry partnership as inspiration for engaging in ministry with Bob to love and serve God, their community, and their blended family of six. 

Bob and Barbie each brought three kids to the party – five sons and one daughter. They are keenly aware and grateful that their family is a portrait of God’s grace and faithfulness!
